Le Banque oculaire Lions du Wisconsin (LEBW)<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e il y a plus de 50 ans et dessert l'ensemble de l'\u00c9tat du Wisconsin en collaborant avec des chirurgiens et des chercheurs afin de fournir des tissus oculaires d'une importance vitale pour la transplantation et la recherche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission et valeurs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sa mission est de restaurer le don de la vue. Elle y parvient en combinant les greffes de corn\u00e9e, en faisant progresser la recherche dans le domaine de l'ophtalmologie et en encourageant les dons d'organes, d'yeux et de tissus.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Services et impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un r\u00e9seau de professionnels de la sant\u00e9, de b\u00e9n\u00e9voles et de membres du Lions Club, la LEBW continue \u00e0 sensibiliser et \u00e0 promouvoir l'importance du don d'yeux, ainsi qu'\u00e0 favoriser la collaboration avec les h\u00f4pitaux, les pompes fun\u00e8bres et d'autres \u00e9tablissements m\u00e9dicaux afin de rationaliser le processus de don.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n
