History and Legacy
Founded in 1947 as the Illinois Eye Bank, Eversight has grown into a global leader in eye care. Originally the fourth eye bank in the United States, its mission has expanded over the decades to encompass not just corneal transplants but also cutting-edge research into preventing and curing blinding eye conditions.
Eversight’s name was officially adopted in 2015 and today serves donor families, patients, surgeons and researchers globally from service areas in Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio and South Korea.
Global Impact
Eversight’s reach is not limited to the United States, as they work to eliminate corneal blindness worldwide through eye bank development, clinical training and tissue provision. They are actively involved in addressing global vision challenges, delivering both short- and long-term solutions to transform the lives of more than 12 million people suffering from corneal blindness globally.

Eversight is your one-stop-shop for collaboration, research tissue, study design, grant proposal writing, data evaluation, imaging, testing, manuscript writing, peer-reviewed publication and more.
They can also facilitate animal model characterization with client-provided tissues. Eversight is a CRO+ guided by being responsible stewards of donor tissue and maximizing their selfless gifts.
